How the chart is built

Letters become digits
Each letter of your name is converted with the Pythagorean table (A, J and S are 1; B, K and T are 2, and so on). Vowels build the Soul Urge number and consonants build the Personality number. Indian practice often uses the Chaldean table instead, which assigns different letter values — the reading of each final number is the same.

Digits reduce — except 11, 22, 33
Totals are added together until one digit remains. The three master numbers are kept whole because they carry a different reading, and both forms are shown where relevant.

Read the pattern, not one number
The value of a chart is in the combination: a Life Path describes the road, a Destiny number describes the work, and the Personal Year describes the current stretch of it.
